1本拡張機能が扱うデータ

データ	いつ扱うか・どこで処理し、保存するか
質問と回答	チャットするとき。パソコンの中のAI（Chrome に入っている Gemini Nano）で処理し、拡張機能の保存領域（chrome.storage.local）に保存します。
ページの文章・画面	「ページについて質問」やスクリーンショットなど、あなたがページについて質問したとき。パソコンの中のAIに渡すだけで、ページの文章は保存しません。スクリーンショットは、添付した画像として会話と一緒に保存します。
質問に使ったページの名前とURL	「ページについて質問」などで使ったページのタイトルと URL を、どのページについての質問かを表示したり、出典のリンクにしたりするため、会話と一緒に保存します。パソコンの中のAIにも渡します。
最近切り替えたタブ	タブ・別ウィンドウで開いたときに「見ていたページ」を決めるため、最近切り替えたタブの番号（最大10件。ページの URL や内容は含みません）を、ブラウザを閉じるまで一時的に記録します（chrome.storage.session）。
選んだ文章	右クリックで「要約」「翻訳」を選んだとき。パソコンの中のAI・翻訳機能（Chrome の翻訳 API）で処理し、結果を会話として保存します。
入力欄の文章	右クリックで「書き換え」を選んだとき。パソコンの中のAIで書き換え、結果をその場に表示します。保存しません。
添付した画像・ファイル	添付したとき。縮小した画像と、ファイルから取り出した文字を、拡張機能の中のデータベース（IndexedDB）に保存します。
設定	設定したとき（カスタム指示・アシスタント・翻訳先・文字の大きさなど）。拡張機能の保存領域に保存します。Google アカウントの同期は使いません。

2ページを読む許可について

ページを読む機能（ページについて質問・いくつかのページを比べる・スクリーンショット）は、初めて使うときに、拡張機能の画面で目的を説明したうえで、Chrome の許可（すべてのサイトのデータの読み取り）を求めます。読むのは、あなたがその機能を使ったときの対象のページだけです。許可は、chrome://extensions の本拡張機能の「詳細」から、いつでも取り消せます。

3しないこと

上の表のデータを、開発者や第三者に送ることはありません。すべてパソコンの中だけで扱います
ブラウザの閲覧履歴は読みません（履歴を読む権限を使っていません）。ページを読むのは、あなたがその機能を使ったときだけです
氏名、メールアドレスなど、個人を特定する情報を求めません
利用状況の統計は取りません（アクセス解析ツールや広告は入っていません）

4外部との通信

本拡張機能は、Chrome のコンテンツセキュリティポリシー（CSP）で、拡張機能のページから外部への通信を禁止しています。プログラムとライブラリはすべて拡張機能に同梱しており、インターネットから読み込むこともありません。

通信が起きるのは、Chrome が Gemini Nano のモデルや翻訳用のデータ（言語パック）をダウンロード・更新するときだけです。これは Chrome 自体の機能で、会話の内容は含まれません。また、回答の中のリンクやページ名をクリックしたときは、そのサイトをブラウザで開きます。

5第三者への提供

データを第三者と共有・販売・譲渡しません。広告や信用調査などに使うこともありません。Chrome ウェブストアのユーザーデータに関するポリシー（Limited Use の要件を含む）に従います。

6データの削除

会話は、画面の履歴からいつでも削除できます
本拡張機能を Chrome から削除すると、保存されている会話・画像・設定もすべて削除されます。残したいときは、先に設定の「バックアップ」で書き出してください

7このポリシーの変更

内容を変更する場合は、このページを更新し、上部の最終更新日を改めます。

"Okuranai AI" (データを外に送らないAI) is a Chrome extension that chats, summarizes, translates and rewrites text using the AI built into Chrome (Gemini Nano and the Translator API), entirely on your computer.

Your questions, the AI's answers, attached images and text extracted from attached files are processed by the on-device AI and stored only locally (chrome.storage.local and IndexedDB). Chrome sync is not used.
Page text and screenshots are read only when you use a page feature (asking about a page, comparing pages, or a screenshot), and only for the pages you choose. They are passed to the on-device AI and page text is not stored. Host access is optional and requested at first use after an in-extension explanation; you can revoke it at any time.
The title and URL of pages you ask about are saved locally with the conversation (to show which page a question was about and to link to sources), and are passed to the on-device AI.
To know which page you were viewing when the chat is open in a tab or window, the IDs of recently activated tabs (up to 10, no URLs or content) are kept in chrome.storage.session until the browser closes.
Text in input fields is read only when you choose "Rewrite" from the right-click menu, and is not stored.
The extension does not read your browser history (it does not use the history permission), does not ask for personal information, and has no usage analytics, ads or third-party analytics. None of the data above leaves your computer.
No data is sent to the developer or any third party. The extension's Content Security Policy blocks all external network requests, and all code is bundled. The only network activity is Chrome itself downloading or updating its AI model and translation language packs, which never contains your conversations.
Data is never sold or transferred. The use of information complies with the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Uninstalling the extension deletes all stored conversations, images and settings.
